Dr. Kenkel is an internationally renowned health economist whose research focuses on the economics of disease prevention and health promotion. In particular, his research on the economics of public health policies has looked at the use of alcohol taxes and other policies to prevent alcohol problems, the use of cigarette taxes to prevent youth smoking, and the effect of advertising to promote smoking cessation. |

Dr. Joseph Terza

Dr. Terza's research focuses on applied health econometrics, specializing in the development and application of nonlinear econometric methods for the analysis of health policy using survey (non-experimental) data. In particular, his recent health policy research has looked at labor market outcomes of individuals with spinal cord injury, the use and finance of prescription drugs for the elderly, and the economic causes and consequences of substance abuse.
