Getting to Vancouver from Victoria

If you are planning to attend the CEA meetings after CHESG, there are several ways to travel:

• Commercial flights: Victoria Airport to Vancouver Airport.
• Float planes: Seair Seaplanes and Harbour Air operate flights between Victoria’s harbour and Vancouver’s.
• Ferry: BC Ferries operates frequent sailings between Swartz Bay and Tsawwassen. Passenger fare is about $15 (extra for vehicles).

Accommodations

UVic is located in a residential neighbourhood and there are no nearby hotels, but dormitory rooms can be rented from the university. These are inexpensive, no-frills rooms with a bed, desk, chair, wardrobe, and shared washrooms.
