The Canadian Health Economists' Study Group (CHESG) is the annual conference of the Canadian Health Economics Association (CHEA). CHESG is usually held in late May, at which economists with an interest in theoretical or empirical economic analysis of health and health care related issues can present their research before a specialist audience. The conference typically covers a day and a half, with each session (presentation of the paper, discussant, and general discussion) lasting roughly an hour. The selection of papers for presentation is done by a local scientific committee, based on the submission of completed paper (not an abstract).
